Tom Stoiber

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, working with Svetlana Jitomirskaya. In fall 2026, I am also a research fellow at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing, participating in Spectral Theory Beyond Graphs.

Previously, I held positions as Visiting Assistant Professor at UC Irvine and as a as a DFG Walter Benjamin Fellow at Yeshiva University. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2022 under Hermann Schulz-Baldes.
